Novel takes place in two eras. One ends and the other begins, the first is remembered, the second is created and projected, while this projection also has a verifiably autobiographical basis. It would not take much effort to identify the names of the real protagonists of "history" behind the names of the bohemian romantic friends. "History" is also autobiographically set mainly in Slovak metropolises (Kosice, B. Bystrica, Bratislava) with beatnik forays into the world. The second layer of "reality", in addition to the performing characters, is represented by social and political realities, fashion trends and the whole atmosphere flourishing with offshoots of rock, pop, advertising, drugs, alcohol, sex, media manipulation and networking. This "biographical" basis includes references to literature, writers and artists, while it is significant that Slovak classics such as G.K. Zechenter-Laskomersky, J. Kral and J. Fandly find themselves in favorable contexts. The author fills this line with an earthy narration, in which there is a noticeable humorous and ironic diction accompanied by sharp criticism (understandably, because it is about socialism and its diets), but the meaning of the narration is essentially serious (also understandable, because it is about the search for a "history" consisting of from the identity of individual characters). The novel is divided into segments corresponding to the aspects of the individual characters, among which other segments (interludes, compendia) are included.
