In the second part the authors of which are again historians from the Institute of History of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, you will find a wide range of topics from obscure healing procedures, educational practices at royal courts to bizarreness that took place in old aristocratic families. Wandering monks-globetrotters, Mrs. Sacherova and fighters for abstinence in alcoholic Slovak villages. However, the authors did not bypass recent history, they did not forget the Slovak state in 1939 (and what preceded it) and the short war period, which is also rich in interesting topics and absurdities, while also dealing with the "Czechoslovak" dimension of this period. And to all this they add many other texts from the communist regime, escapes from the "paradise", where tomorrow was supposed to mean yesterday.
