Melpomena Marinova dedicated her life to serving people.
Melpomena Marinova was from a repressed family. Therefore, she became the initiator of the installation and opening of a monument to the victims of political repression. Marinova began her teaching career as a primary school teacher in the village of Kotovskoye. For many years, she worked as the head of the district department of culture. Always responsible, energetic and demanding. This is how Natalia Stantsoi, a teacher at the Comrat Music School, remembers her. She always defended the interests of culture. There were no unsolved problems or issues for her. She could reach out everywhere, win back this or that position regarding culture. Despite the fact that she was strict as a leader, she was kind and sympathetic, responded to any pain of people who turned to her with a request to help. And she helped.
