This publication examines the evolution of one of the regional architectural schools of Russia, the architectural school of Khabarovsk from the standpoint of the relationship between teachers and students, the development of the material and technical base and the socio-political situation, territorial and professional characteristics. A comparative analysis of the annals of events and the official chronicle is conducted, brief information is given on leading teachers, the most successful graduates of the first and last decades. The most typical final qualification works completed over the 50 years of the architectural school's existence are shown.
