The History of the Ancient Mongolian Tribes is the work of the Chinese scholar Lin Gan, and it was translated into Mongolian by translators from Inner Mongolia and published in Uygurjin script. We present it to our readers by translating the Khalkh dialects in the new Mongolian script. China considers the Donghu as an ancient ethnic minority in the north. The Donghu lived in the 3rd century BC. It was a book that thoroughly researched the customs and morals of Donghu based on historical records and archeological materials. In addition to Donghu, Wuhuan, and Xianbi, Rou Ran, Humihi, and Shiwei were studied to prove that Shiwei is the ancestor of the current Mongolian nation.
