The historical atlas, compiled by a young generation of archaeologists and historians, reflects the important processes and events of Estonian history from the last ice age to the present day. The atlas is chronologically divided into four main parts: prehistory, the Middle Ages, modern times and contemporary history. In the 2nd edition of the atlas, the section "Prehistory" was thoroughly updated, thanks to which the maps reflect the results of recent research in the field of archaeology. Maps of other eras have been visually updated, errors have been corrected, and several new maps have been added to the end of the atlas.
