The work under consideration presents essays on outstanding personalities of Chechnya: national leaders, military leaders, heroes, theologians, and pilgrims. The monograph is conditionally divided into two parts: one of which presents a description of Chechen heroism in chronological order, and the other is based on materials from the expeditions of Professor R. U. Bersanov in the 1980s and 1990s.
