The publication is dedicated to the study of the literary and cultural history of Halychyna as a landmark region of Ukraine, which appeared at the complex intersection of civilizational, cultural and ideological processes throughout its history. The topic of the first issue is the cultural history of the Ukrainian national revival in Halychyna between 1848 and 1870. The problems of the formation and development of the Ukrainian-language press in Halychyna, the activity and creativity of key figures of Halychyna culture, the literary trends of that time, historical conditions and intellectual intentions are studied.
