This is a documentary story about one of the most significant Russian politicians, diplomat, Field-Marshal G.Potemkin. This book is devoted to the brightest and the most dramatic period of his life, the Russian-Turkish War of 1787-1791. Potemkin organized Catherine's fabulous Crimean tour of 1787. He worked out the strategy of Russian Army actions at three battle fields simultaneously: the Black Sea, Moldova and Northern Caucasus.
