In the "Private Collection" publishing project, we are returning to readers another name - the forgotten writer-traveler Mykhailo Posatskyi, the author of masterful travel essays written in L'viv in the interwar period.
"Greece - the smile of life" (1938) is a meditative journey to the land of spring and the youth of mankind, the memory of which the author cherishes like the memory of his first love. The book was published on the eve of the Second World War, and since then the writer's texts have not been reprinted, and his name has not entered any encyclopedia; only isolated documents in archives and occasional mentions in memoirs have survived.
In our edition for the first time, all the works of the author are collected and a thorough study of his life path, which was carried out by Markiian Dombrovskyi, is included.
