A collection of selected works by Pyotr Berngardovich Struve (1870–1944), an authoritative Russian politician, economist, philosopher, statesman, and participant in the White movement. The main thing in P.B. Struve’s legacy is an attempt to combine liberal values with a program of state building and to formulate the principles of political nationalism. This publication compositionally reconstructs such unrealized book projects by P.B. Struve as the essays “Culture and Freedom” (1905), “State, Intelligentsia, Revolution” (1908), and the monograph “Fundamentals of Political Economy” (1923). A number of particularly striking scientific works by P.B. Struve from his emigrant period, devoted to Antiquity and the Middle Ages, are also presented.
