Volumes 21 and 22 of the encyclopedia are a collection of articles about scientists and professionals working in the sphere of hydro-energy from the 19th century through today. The materials for these volumes were drawn from personal and state archives, as well as from personal diaries and notes. Especially instrumental were the personal documents of V. Migurenko and V. Stankevich, who dedicated 50 years of their professional career to the development of hydro-technical industry.
