Svetlana Zakharchenko (born 1959) is a poet, teacher at Petrozavodsk State University, head of the poetic group "I" - the school through which many of today's poets of Karelia have passed. Member of the Union of Russian Writers since 2006. For more than 15 years she has been working on the epistolary heritage of the Optina elders Macarius and Ambrose. The collection "Stretcher of the Word" includes poems from the cycles "Anna Akhmatova", "Marina Tsvetaeva", "Passion Week". Many of the poems included in the collection are dedicated to the Orthodox faith, prayer, and the soul. They contain Orthodox saints, holidays, everything that protects and saves.
