Hennadiy Hrytsenko is a well-known Ukrainian graphic artist and monumentalist. The leading themes of his work - the Cossacks, portraiture and household genre. He belongs to the circle of Ukrainian artists of the sixties, who turned to the traditions of Ukrainian folk art and professional Ukrainian art of the 1920s and created modern Ukrainian monumental art - the antithesis of socialist realism. His multi-thematic and multi-plot graphics preserve the traditions of realistic creation of an artistic image.
