Derzhavin as a public servant of Senate (1777–1783), a chief of Olonets (1785) and Tambov vicariates (1785–1788), as a secretary of Chancellery of Her Imperial Majesty on adoption of solicitations (1791–1793), a president of Collegium of Commerce and a senator of the boundary department of Senate (1794–1796).
