The 10th issue of the almanac presents research materials on the history and culture of the Vyatka region. Memoirs of I.Ya.Porfir’ev, professor of Kazan Theological Academy, about his life in Vyatka in the 1830s and studies in Vyatka Theological Seminary, an extract from the memoirs of a French musician A.Porten who visited Vyatka in the second half of the XIXth century are also incorporated.
