The collection of documents describes a dramatic career of Marshal Zhukov after the Great Patriotic War. In 1946 he became a subject of Stalin's disfavor, and in 1957, at the height of activity as Minister of Defense, Marshal Zhukov fell a victim of the party-nomenclature collision headed by Khruschev. It was only in 1999 that Zhukov was posthumously rehabilitated.
