The collection presents Georgian medieval church-songs in contemporary notation by the experts of Georgian church-singing tradition E.Kereselidze and R.Kundadze (the late XIXth century). Georgian polyphonic church songs had been banned by the Russian tsarist regime but were fortunately reconstructed in the XIXth century mainly owing to the work of the two experts.
