The Institute of History of the Armenian Academy of Sciences carried out archeological study of the ancient Armenian fortress Garni. Excavations in Garni reveal new architectural monuments and archeological material of different epochs every time, beginning from Eneolithic and ending with the late Middle Ages. The proposed second issue is dedicated to the 1951-1955 works results and cover the ancient period materials.
