The front-line diary of Fedor Semenovich Glushkov, restored by historian Maxim Kuznetsov, is published in print for the first time. From 1941 to 1945, Fedor Glushkov went from a cadet at an artillery instrumental reconnaissance school to a division party organizer, walking from the Smolensk region to Koenigsberg. The book is supplemented with materials on the history of the 828th separate army reconnaissance artillery division from the Central Archive of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
