The collection presents documents of the NKVD Secretariat which are kept in the State Archive of the Russian Federation. The documents disclose actions of the NKVD troops, which together with Polish security service suppressed underground military forces that tried to destabilize situation in the rears of Red Army and fought against pro-Soviet Polish government in 1944-1945. The collection has an introductory article, scientific comments, name index and two biographical dictionaries.
