The collection published on the occasion of the author's 85th anniversary brings together his shorter writings, starting in 1968 and ending in 2023. Although Ulo Tuulik's work is undoubtedly best known for his documentary war novel "Soja jalus", he created short stories above all. These have brought him a number of awards, including the Fr. Tuglas Short Story Prize, and the current anniversary selection has also focused on shorter stories throughout the writer's entire creative biography.
