The monograph is dedicated to the problem of forming of mortgage in the so-called overtaking economies, based on the theory of transplantation of the institutes from one economic sphere into another. The author studies evolution of the housing crediting during the last two centuries and the recent experience of mortgage creation in the countries of Eastern Europe. The results prove the basic hypotheses of transplantation theory and allow surmising a rational strategy of mass mortgage forming in Russia. In particular, the monograph shows that on the stage of mortgage market creation it is reasonable to introduce construction-savings banks. That was proved by calculations made according to the mathematic model with the use of Russian statistics.
