The collective monograph characterizes the theoretical and methodological foundations of the formation of the cultural identity of student, future teachers in the Novgorod region. The components of cultural identity (regional identity, ethnocultural identity, and civic identity) are considered. Special attention is given to the systems for developing regional and civic identities in younger schoolchildren, which can be used by future teachers in their professional activities.
