Over the course of two days, the invited speakers will address issues of criminal law, process and criminalistics. The organizers in the conference program placed particular emphasis on possible ways to streamline and rationalize the criminal process. Rule-making initiatives of the Investigative Committee in the field of pre-trial criminal proceedings will also be discussed. The international forum is attended by the leadership and law enforcement officers (the Investigation Committee, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the KGB, the General Prosecutor's Office), as well as experts from expert and scientific institutions from leading universities in Belarus, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine and France. Among the participants are 12 doctors of science and 36 candidates of science. Scientists from Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Moscow State University of Law named after O.E. Kutafin (MSLA), Russian State University of Justice, National Law University named after Yaroslav Mudryi, St. Petersburg Academy of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation and K. Simonavicius University.
