The monograph contains a comprehensive interdisciplinary analysis of the concepts of health and healthy lifestyles of young people, approaches to their formation. Based on a study of the current regulatory framework in this area, content analysis of educational and methodological documentation, empirical sociological research, the specifics of the formation of a healthy lifestyles of medical universities students were studied. The system of activity of the educational institution on the formation of a healthy lifestyle of students is presented in the form of a graphical model (scheme), and approaches to the assessment of this activity based on indicators of students' health-saving behavior are indicated.
