The edition is dedicated to the October Revolt of 1993. The book, based on a wide range of published sources and interviews with the direct participants and eyewitnesses of the tragic events of autumn 1993, tries to estimate the true number of dead and missing in those bloody days. The author presents the evidence of mass executions in the White House, the adjoining courtyards and doorways of houses and at “Asmaral” stadium (Krasnaya Presnya). The problem of extermination and secret burial of dead bodies and the problem of finding missing are also highlighted. The author comes to the conclusion that the data about the dead was falsified by the authorities, and the true number of the killed people is more than a few times bigger.
