The present research of Olexender Alfiorov proposes a first approach to history of Alfiorovs’ family Sloboda branch. The author analysed several generations of the family that totalled 141 members. He proved that this Cossack clan of long standing throve after the creation of Sumy Cossacks Regiment. The book explains the origins of Alfiorovs’ name, their social status and financial position.
