The collection contains Russian-language records of 8,517 Estonians living in Russian territories, most of whom fell victim to repression during the Great Terror in 1937–1938. In addition, the collection includes the editor's foreword and Eli Pilve's article "Estonians in Russia and the Great Terror" in Estonian and Russian.
The data of the repressed are in particular: name, date and place of birth, time and place of arrest, formal basis of the charge, decision (shooting, imprisonment), position and source.
