Throughout human history, people have sought to improve the environment in which they live. One of the means to achieve this was the inclusion in the living space of elements of natural nature: trees, shrubs, flowers. The ideal, otherworldly world in various religions was even presented in the form of a "garden of paradise", which must be found by man.
Landscape art, thus, developed in many nations as the idea of a better, "ideal" life. Despite the stylistic and national features of landscape art of different peoples, there was much in common, dating back to the idea of divine beauty and beautiful perfection. Belarusian architecture has reached amazing heights and diversity in this art form.
