This book is an attempt to document the “Local” film laboratory. The publication includes quite classic interviews with curators, revised and thematically structured by Andrei Yakimov, and a short essay by Zhenya Chaika, emotionally describing the process and conceptual searches of the authors and actors of the project, and film reviews written after watching films by participants in the Laboratory of Texts about Cinema (Natalia Nemova, Daria Krutko, Alexander Kolegov, Yulia Ivanova). Separately, I would like to highlight the small interlude sketches, which were written by Daria Plaksieva based on conversations with participants in the events and are designed to transport the reader into the atmosphere of industrial expeditions.
