Irina Andreyevna Fedosova (1827-1899, Olonetskaya Guberniya) was a naratress of folk tales and a mourner. Folklorists wrote more than 30000 poems known and performed by Fedosova, such as mourning poems, lamentations, lyrical songs, epic poems, ballades, tales, proverbs, sayings, historical and spiritual songs. The articles run about Fedosova’s life, as well as folklore, ethnography, history and culture of Zaonezhye and the Russian North.
