Dmitry is a well-known Belarusian poet, thinker, civic activist, author of ten collections of poetry, curator of the Pamezhzha cultural festival (Russian Borderlands) and head of the Minsk School literary project. Dmitry Strotsev is known as a spectacular performer of his poems (he calls his special manner of recitation "poetic dances") and a songwriter on his poems. For the collection of poems "850 lines" Dmitry Strotsev was awarded the Russian prize of the third degree in 2007 (nomination "Poetry").
