The writer Sergey Ponomarenko received the medal “Honorary Badge” of the National Union of Ukraine “for personal achievements in literary work, for his significant contribution to the revival of spirituality and culture of the Ukrainian people”, and the literary award “Golden Writer of Ukraine”. A company of youth sets off on a river to an old, flooded church. At night on the shore there is an eerie funeral bell ringing, screeching to the bone with horror. In the morning, young people discover a girl’s corpse nearby. Fearing that they will be considered guilty of murder, they decide to drown the body in the river.
