The old hearth of the founder of Pecikoz is Bela Reka. It is located in the southern part of Zlatibor, north of Nova Varos and Zlatar Lake. It was determined by applying the axiomatic method, the method of content analysis, the historical-comparative method, the statistical method, etc., which was confirmed by the anthropogeographical examination of Zlatibor, which was realized by Ljubomir Z. Micic until 1906, on the instructions of Dr. Jovan Cvijic, with the material assistance of the Geographical Institute of the University of Belgrade. The first genealogical knowledge about the descendants of the ancestor Pecikoz from the old hearth was registered in Buda in 1706, in Slavonia at the beginning of the 18th century, after the migration of Serbs to the north, north of the Sava and Danube, in March 1690 under Patriarch Arsenije III Carnojevic, due to the participation of Serbs in 1689 in the Austro-Turkish War from 1683 to 1699 on the side of Austria.
