This dictionary is an Explanatory dictionary that records the norms of the modern Russian literary language for the purposes of its use as the official language of the Russian Federation, and is published in the edition approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated April 30, 2025 No. 1102-R. The Dictionary contains more than 45,000 words and phrases of all parts of speech used in the areas specified in Part 1 of Article 3 of Federal Law No. 53-FZ of June 1, 2005 "On the State Language of the Russian Federation".
