The booklet presents the Synagogues of Lithuania exhibition dedicated to the Great Vilna Gaon. So well known is his name that 200 years after his death the entire Jewish world is commemorating this great occasion. In 1800 the Vilna Jewish community erected a synagogue on the site where the Gaon, the greatest luminary of all times, had lived. Now the colorful pictures of the synagogues located in the country are offered to the readers attention.
