Public media in Poland have been criticized since the beginning of their activity - by politicians, experts, and sometimes also viewers. The main accusation, made especially against the news programs of Polish Television, was bias and submissiveness to the team currently in power. However, the changes that took place in TVP and Polish Radio after the Law and Justice Party and its coalition partners took power after 2015 constituted a completely new stage in the process of appropriation and instrumental use of public media. The authors of this monograph shed new light on this process. Using extensive research material, they show how the message of public media changed in the following years, under the rule of PiS.
