The first 100 prints of an artist-etcher are considered to be original. The further prints are done on the paper of lower quality and acquire the status of "duplicate graphics". The former are almost impossible to find while the latter seem ideal for amateur collectors. The present book is a full-scale illustrated catalogue of "duplicate graphics", which provides information on the technique of a large number of Russian, French, German, Spanish works of art.
