Based on theoretical approaches and research practices of the "new cultural and intellectual history", the processes of genesis of moral and ethical values of local professional groups, as well as models and platforms of their representations, are reconstructed; dynamic characteristics of the ethos of communities in the humanitarian fields of research knowledge are discovered and explained; strategies and practices of sociocultural behavior, mechanisms of self-organization and internal regulation are revealed; the ethos of the pedagogical community has been reconstructed in the context of socio–cultural and socio-economic transformations of the mid 20th and early 21st centuries.
