The monograph of candidate of historical sciences Hashba A.S. analyzes the dynamics of changes in the ethnodemographic structure of the population in modern Abkhazia since the end of the XX century to the beginning of the XXI century. The article considers changes in the numerical and ethnic composition, as well as the gender and age structure of the population of the Republic from the 1990s to 2014; it evaluates the current migration situation from rural to urban areas; the current state of the institution of marriage, interethnic marriages has been analyzed; divorce rates have been evaluated.
