The monograph describes the vocabulary of regional business correspondence of the XVIIIth century including genetically diverse lexical layers: bookish Slavonic means, borrowed words from European languages and languages of the Siberian natives, all-Russian colloquial words and regional dialectal words. The work contains classification of Slavisms, which, depending on stylistic functions and communicative purposes, are divided into style-forming, genre-forming, etiquette-forming and high style business correspondence means.
