Alexander Yefstefeyev worked as a managing director of “Ryazangorgaz”, and was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor in 1976 and the title “Merited Worker of housing and utilities sector of the RSFSR” in 1984. The author himself was brought up in a postwar orphan asylum and the book runs about children who also came from asylums of 70-s-80-s of the XXth century.
