The purpose of this study was to formulate scientifically sound proposals to improve the criminal legislation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, providing for an error in the existence of circumstances precluding the crime and the practice of its application based on a comprehensive comparative legal analysis of this error in criminal law.
