The monograph examines the features of the natural conditions of the Russian Arctic and their impact on the environmental situation. The natural complexes of land and sea areas are described. The characteristics of anthropogenic and technogenic regional and external sources of impact are given. The scale of environmental impact has been assessed. It is concluded that at present the environmental situation in the Russian Arctic is not acute, and the impact on natural complexes is focal in nature, but can manifest itself over a long period of time.
