The authors - famed Tyumen' journalists Viktor Gorbachev and Vladimir Knyazev did their best to elucidate the history of Tyumen' aviation from the first flights to nowadays. They applied to a great variety of textual and photomaterials but first of all tried to get information directly from the participants of the events, in particular those veteran aviators, who together with geologists, oilmen, gasmen and builders created in the heaviest conditions the Western-Siberian Oil-Gas Complex.
