The monograph is devoted to the study of the issues of ensuring the effectiveness of Ukrainian legislation in terms of the use of international standards. In particular, the state of scholarly research on the issues of legislative effectiveness in historical retrospect is outlined; individual approaches to defining the concept of effectiveness and quality of legislation are systematized, and their characteristic features and criteria are established.
