The book represents a compilation of 100 biographies of the renowned people of Estonia born in the XXth century. The project has been developed by the Museum of Literature of the Estonian Academy of Sciences and was under supervision of the President of Estonia who wrote a foreword for the given edition. The materials for the biographies have been granted by more than 20 organizations. Volume II includes biographies of the people born in 1926-1992.
