Materials are presented on the formation of state policy in the field of education in the State labor reserves of young replenishments of the working class in the 1940-50s. Documents from central and regional party-state bodies, the Main Directorate (Ministry) of Labor Reserves, the NKVD, the prosecutor's office, and the Komsomol allow us to study the processes of developing the principles and goals of educating “young guards of labor,” developing the main tools for implementing educational work and monitoring its effectiveness. In total, 70 documents were published in the collection, the vast majority of which were published for the first time.
