The purpose of the symposium: the synthesis and expertise of the experience and mechanisms of the influence of lifelong education on ensuring environmental integrity, economic sustainability, social well-being and the development of human resources in the regions. Problem field of the symposium:
Continuing education as a leading factor in sustainable development of the country, human growth and achievement of social cohesion in the interests of implementing the National Strategy for Sustainable Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Belarus, the final document of the UN Summit “Transforming our world: sustainable development agenda for the period until 2030” strategic objectives of the UNESCO Global Program of Action for ESD, the UNECE Strategy for ESD. Continuous pedagogical education is a mechanism for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by preparing people of all generations to accept new values; and transform their lifestyles based on knowledge transfer. State-public partnership in the management of education for sustainable development at the national, regional and local levels. Targeted scientific and educational support to ensure environmental integrity, economic sustainability, social well-being and human resource development of local communities and regions. Scientific and methodological support of educational practices in the interests of sustainable development for all generations. Organization of a scientific shop as a tool for networking science, education and local communities in the sustainable development of regions.
